Program Information

Whether your interest lies in games, animations, art, story telling or something else altogether, coding provides a powerful tool that enables you to express yourself in these areas. This workshop introduces students to coding in the context of designing their own game.

Students will be introduced to how to design the concept and elements of basic games. The instructor will help guide the software development, with design guidance from the students. After learning the basics, students will work alone or in small groups to work on a game of their choice.  They will also have the option to follow along with the class on a collaborated game design.
